Day Trip to Himeji Castle

Himeji Castle is a Unesco World Heritage site and the largest castle in Japan. Unique among Japanese castles it has survived largely intact throughout the centuries. It’s a short shinkansen ride from Osaka and will make a wonderful day trip.
